est. 1965
B.J. Grinding was founded in 1965 by Robert Hoiseth. Established when he sold his prized 1958 yellow corvette to buy a Kwik-Way O.D. grinder with a plan to become the top aerospace machine shop in the San Fernando Valley.
The original grinder was quickly replaced for larger and higher quality Swiss and German machines allowing him the ability to perform extremely close tolerance grinding. BJG quickly grew a large client list and earned the trust of local manufacturers, high-tech firms and global aerospace conglomerates.
Robert's innovation and forward thinking led BJG to becoming the first company to purchase and operate a CNC grinder in Southern California in the 1980s. Today, more than fifty five years later, BJG Inc has grown to become one of the top respected precision grinding shops in California.
Located in Burbank, CA, the facility contains state of the art machines and embraces a tradition of quality and craftsmanship. BJG primarily manufacturers parts for commercial uses, military and defense, space exploration and medical companies. BJG has worked on several classified military programs including Northrop Grummans B-12 Bomber and Lockheed Martins Joint Striker F-35 Fighter. BJG has developed a trusted reputation for excellence, dependability and taking on difficult parts that most other companies don't want to take on.
